My favorite Dick Grayson blog on tumblr posted these pictures and he/she had the same thought I did - I just LOVE when Bruce is parental!! :D and this was my favorite scene from the comics. These are from the newspaper serials (I own them so it's not completely stealing scans.)

First your usual golden oldies strangeness. Then the "fake" but very visible parental Bruce below.

LOL! Once again out of context from the actual story it seems that Bruce is chasing Dick again. Bruce give the kid a break, he's just 13!

Man, these bad guys learn the hard way, this why you don't kidnap the kid. :P Batman will beat the SNOT outta ya. It's sorta like when someone touches Pippin in the wrong way, Merry will kick their ass. xD

Aww its so sweet. However, the actual comic is SO disappointing. x_x Robin doesn't even get kidnapped.
